About this product
Modular Ant Farm, Expandable Habitat with Integrated Hydration System
Give your colony a modern, practical home designed for observation, easy maintenance, and future expansion. This modular ant farm combines a spacious transparent arena with a horizontal nesting section, allowing you to watch your ants forage above while monitoring colony activity inside the gypsum chambers below.
The clear acrylic arena provides excellent visibility from multiple angles and includes ventilation openings to maintain fresh airflow. The removable top makes feeding, cleaning, and maintenance straightforward while helping keep the colony securely contained.
Below the arena, the nest features a network of interconnected gypsum chambers where ants can establish their colony, raise brood, store food, and rest. A built-in hydration system helps maintain stable humidity inside the nest, while the central reservoir provides convenient access for adding water.
The included red chamber cover can be placed over the nesting area to create a darker environment for the colony. When you want to observe your ants, simply remove the cover and view the gypsum chambers through the transparent surface.
Modular and Expandable
One of the main advantages of this ant farm is its modular construction. Instead of replacing the entire habitat when your colony grows, you can connect additional compatible nests and arenas and expand the setup gradually.
This allows you to start with an appropriately sized habitat and provide more space only when the colony actually needs it.
Integrated Water System
The nest includes a dedicated hydration system designed to provide moisture to the nesting gypsum chambers. Water can be added through the accessible reservoir without opening the entire nest, making routine hydration simple and convenient.
Red Chamber Cover
Ants generally prefer darker nesting areas. The removable red cover helps reduce light entering the gypsum chambers while still allowing you to periodically inspect the colony, queen, workers, brood, and stored food.
Spacious Observation Arena
The transparent upper arena gives your ants plenty of room for feeding and exploration. It also provides a convenient area for adding food, feeders, decorations, and other accessories without disturbing the nest below.
Designed for Easy Maintenance
The modular construction allows major components to be opened and separated when necessary, making cleaning and maintenance easier than with permanently sealed habitats.
Ideal For
This ant farm is suitable for ant keepers looking for a clean, modern, expandable habitat with excellent visibility and convenient humidity management. It works particularly well for growing colonies where long-term expansion is important.
